Completion, Good Reward.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana, and as such represents saturnian energies, time, and completion.

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). The Yoni symbolizes the great Mother, the cervix through which everything is born, and also the doorway to the next life after death. It is indicative of a complete circle. Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. Your hard work, knowledge, wisdom, patience, etc, will absolutely pay-off; you've done everything right.

Autumn is approaching!  Time for leaves to change to the rich lovely colors red, yellow, orange.  During this time of year we enjoy the holidays of All Hallows Eve and Thanksgiving.  So for my blog posts during this wonderful season I will be focusing on fall designs and designs that can be worn for those lovely All Hallows Eve balls that are coming.

Here is my first Autumn post.   This is the beautiful and mysterious Rfrye Swansong Black Flame Gown.  I wore this gown for the Halloween Presentation Event during MVW Contest in 2009.  It is one of my favorite designs to wear during this time of year.  The train in the back looks like lovely swan feathers draping luxoriously from my back.  The neckpiece resembles black flames, thus giving some inspiration to the name of the design.  The gown is itself is a straight floor length sheath which is complements any shape whether curvy or less than curvy.  Lovely *G* Fields Eve Stiletto Pumps in Black are the perfect compliment to the dress.   It gives me the appearance of a lovely black swan as I gracefully dance around the ballroom.

 

I chose the Glam Affair Mary Skin in Fair 11 and Damselfly Mabyn Hair in Black Pearl to add more elegance to this design, and Muse Black Pearl and Diamond Choker and Earrings to add some sparkly to my outfit.  Boom Liquid Glaze Liner and Lashes Tattoo Makeup helps to bring out my eyes.

 Finally, I add the lovely *Aglaia* Diamond Mask to add the perfect accent for a lovely All Hallows Eve Ball event.

A Precious Wish....

I love lace!  Lace is the perfect way to dress if you want to be feminine and sexy at the same time.  You can be covered yet show enough skin to make it interesting!  LOL  Agnes Finney is a phenomenal designer when it comes to gowns and dresses in lace.  The one I am wearing in this post is Wish in White.  The body hugging lace mini dress shows off my curves, and the delicate collar with white flower and fluttery sleeves add the touch of precious womanly grace to the design.

On my head is Agnes Finney's newest hat creation, Reborn.   Black roses, leaves, and vines entwine to create a work of avant garde beauty.  Amacci provided the perfect hair knot with hair base for a sleek look that is perfect for this hat.  Alienbear's silvery Dark Rosana earrings are added to finish the look.

Precious Wedding Style

At the end of spring this year my partner and I renewed our commitment to each other and had a lovely party.  I really wanted a custom gown but time did not allow me to get that accomplished.  I chose to wear something I styled from two of gowns from the Agnes Finney Fashion House.  Unfortunately there are no really good pictures of what we looked like that day.   So yesterday I went out to one of the loveliest wedding venues called Genevieve Cathedral and Edward Ballroom at Weir to take some pictures of the beautiful dress I wore on one of my happiest days in SL.

The first Fashion Show I ever saw in Second Life

This kimono called Reien, by Sweetaholic designer Asalt Eames, is a souveneir of the first fashion show I went to see in SL.   In March of 2009, I was sent a group notice for a Kimono Show by Sweetaholic designer Asalt Eames. I had never been to a fashion show in SL, so this was definitely a great adventure for me.  When I arrived there were many people crowded into a small runway with pillows on each side for people to sit on. I remember seeing the models gracefully trying to make their way down the runway fighting against what I would come to know as "lag".  This kimono was the one that stood out to me the most.  The colors and detailing was unique and sensual to me.  I especially liked the neckpiece and have since worn it with other outfits as an accessory.
